Mercedes Searer is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Nutrition Coach (Health Science Academy). She holds an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College, where her research focused on choreographic-specific training and neuromuscular preparation, and a BA from Point Park University, where she rigorously studied anatomy and kinesiology. With this rare blend of scientific expertise and artistic movement training, Mercedes brings a holistic, performance-driven perspective to fitness.
Her approach combines personalized fitness plans, one-on-one training, and nutrition coaching, alongside integrated postural and movement assessments. Whether your goals are strength, mobility, injury recovery, or performance enhancement, Mercedes helps uncover hidden movement patterns, address weaknesses, and reorganize the body for greater efficiency and freedom.
Training with Mercedes is about more than sets and reps—it’s about optimizing movement quality. By reducing compensations and postural distortions, she helps clients move, feel, and live better.
Drawing from a wide range of modalities—including strength and weight training, Pilates, HIIT, plyometrics, functional anatomy, neuromuscular facilitation, and ballet/dance techniques—Mercedes crafts a dynamic, full-bodied approach that challenges limits and inspires transformation.

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING
Programing, training, and guidance is built around your unique body and goals.
To begin, a new client will undergo an assessment to pinpoint weakness and inefficiencies in the body. From there we build a foundation that addresses overly tight tissues, weak tissues and retrains the system to work cohesively. The programming progresses as new skills and strengths are developed to foster confidence and agency in your body.
